Vinyl cuts can be identified by JG in the runouts, usually in combination with either Kendun Recorders or K Disc Mastering or Golden Mastering stamps. When just GOLDEN appears in the runouts, please credit Lacquer Cut At - Golden Mastering. Not to be confused with his son JJ Golden who works as a mastering/ lacquer cutting engineer at the same studio. Before starting his own mastering studio Golden Mastering (Ventura, CA) in 1993, he worked 4 years as a recording engineer at Wally Heider Studios (ca. 1969 - ca. 1973), before becoming a mastering engineer with Artisan Sound Recorders (ca. 1973 - 1975), Kendun Recorders (1975 - 1981) and K Disc Mastering (1981 - 1993).
