John S. Konesky is a Grammy Award winning American guitarist, additional vocalist and occasional producer and actor.Konesky is known primarily for his association with Tenacious D due to him performing on their The Pick Of Destiny and Rize of the Fenix albums as well as having brief cameos in Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny in addition to The Complete Master Works 2 before appearing in a lot of their music videos. He has toured North America, Europe, Australia and Asia with the band since 2006 and has been featured on many late night talk shows such as The David Letterman Show.
