Scottish-born accordion player, based in Australia (as of 2015). He has also lived in New Zealand from 1963 to 1971, moved to Australia in 1971, and toured extensively throughout the world. He has returned to New Zealand for several tours. Not to be confused with John MacDonald, Scottish accordion player, who appears to be significantly older from the 1975 artist portrait against his profile.
