A.k.a. John D. Muratore
John Muratore (b. 1954) is an American classical guitarist, lecturer at Boston University and Dartmouth College, Massachusetts, and a coordinator of the guitar program at the All Newton Music School. He received B.M. degree from the University of Akron, and Master's – from the New England Conservatory Of Music. As a soloist, Muratore has been performing extensively throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Russia. He has collaborated with many chamber ensembles, such as The Orchestra Of Emmanuel Music, Chorus Pro Musica, The Boston Musica Viva, The Mastersingers, Alea III, Counterpoint, and the Spectrum Singers. The guitarist worked closely to produce and premiere original guitar compositions with a few contemporary American composers, including Daniel Pinkham, Scott Wheeler, Larry Bell, Roger Zahab and Jon Appleton.
