He took the name Billy Karloff from the horror film star Boris Karloff. After being playing in various rock bands since 1974, John Osborn mounted in south London the band Billy Karloff & The Goats. Whith the members: Billy Karloff - Voice Chris Pye - Guitar Ed Duane - Bass Pedro Ortiz - Drums In early 1978, Billy Karloff & The Goats become Billy Karloff Band, recruiting a second guitarist (Ivan Julian). Then members were rotating, the name of the band was changing: Billy Karloff & The Supremes, Billy Karloff & The Extremes ... They disbanded in 2003
