American jazz pianist, arranger, composer and bandleader. Born : June 14, 1908 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Died : October 29, 1975 in Los Angeles, California. Mr. Trotter worked with Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Bing Crosby, Bix Beiderbecke, Hal Kemp, among others, and in his own groups.
