john wakeling jamaican reggae personality and announcer. he was apart of the group called synergy who were responsible for the staging of the reggae concert and franchise reggae sunsplash. died in jamaica in 1998 of lung cancer was a good friend and neighbour to me and my family. was great friends with bob marley and the wailers and helped produced many songs and had a great insight for reggae music and the early developments.
