British pianist, bassist, composer, and arranger. Born: 2 February 1924 in London, England, UK. Died: 13 February 2009 in Australia (aged 85). Hawksworth worked with the "Ted Heath Orchestra" from 1951 to 1965. He had lived and worked in Australia since 1984. He has also written many pieces of stock music for the De Wolfe Music library, and provided the hypnotic musical soundtrack to Geoffrey Jones' classic British Transport Film "Snow" (1963).
