Born: 5th March 1939 Macon, Georgia, USA Died: 26th June 2006 American left-handed blues guitarist. Credited with kick-starting Otis Redding’s career who drove him to a session with Booker T & The MG's, as Jenkins had no drivers licence. They used the remaining studio time to record These Arms Of Mine with Steve Cropper on piano in a spontaneous arrangement.
