A.k.a. Walk The Walk
Danish early 80's punkband from Aalborg established 1979. After singing in Danish on their previous releases the band in 1984 recorded a demo-tape in English that lead to a UK tour in 1985 as "Johnny And The Demons". Following the tour the band was contacted by producer Martin Hannett of Factory label and Manchester sound fame who had gotten the demotape from Nico's manager and wanted to produce an album with the band. In may 1986, before the release of the album, the band changed name - and language - for Walk The Walk. The band intendedly never credited the band members but they were Birgitte Rode (Vocals, Keyboards), Claus Hvass (Guitar, Vocals), Jens Henrik Næslund aka Giovanni Naslani (Bass) and Mogens Haltrup and Niels Roden (Drums). On the UK tour as well as on the recordings for the Walk The Walk album the band drummer was Robert Borges The band had their own studio, Kling Klang Studio, Aalborg
