A.k.a. John Robert Parker
British blues/jazz piano player. Born : 6th November 1929 in Beckenham, Kent, England. Died : 11th June 2010 in London, England. Parker played with Humphrey Lyttelton And His Band (1951-57), the Monty Sunshine's Jazz Band, Kenny Ball, Ken Colyer, Cyril Davies And His Rhythm And Blues All Stars and Alexis Korner's Blues Incorporated. Parker married Peggy Phango, one of the Velvette girls who fronted the early Cyril Davies performances at the Marquee.
