Johnstar has had a passion for music since he was a young boy. At the age of 11 he started his own drive-in show, and what started out as a childlike fascination soon grew out to be a true music obsession. Having passed through various music styles, it turned out to be the constantly evolving house music which was able to keep him interested. He soon got his first residentie at club Vasquesz (Tilburg, the Netherlands), where also the nowadays massive popular Fedde le Grand and Funkerman had their residentie. Both Fedde le Grand and Funkerman have played a large role for Johnstar in finding his own style, and still form a great source of inspiration and influence. Nowadays Johnstar is steadily working his way up by doing what he does best. All the time he doesn't spend spinning, he is working in his own studio, and also his productions are starting to gain more and more respect amongst the biggest.
