Jon started working in the music business in 1953. During his college years sustained himself as a musician. With a Master of Fine Arts degree from the California College of Arts and Crafts, soon established himself as a sculptor and creative designer. In 1963 he became Promotion Manager for Capitol Records. He also played in a group named West (11). At the end of 1966 he was nominated vice president at Trident Productions, Inc.. At the beginning of 1971 he has been appointed Artists and Repertoire and Product Manager for Polydor Records.
