String player Jon Scaife first joined up to record with 'Bodger's Mate'. His amazing guitar accompaniments have had audiences gasping in Britain and the USA. Renowned principally for his guitar style he also plays fiddle, cittern and bass. His work with Gypsy Reel gives full expression to his subtle and unique accompaniments. His original style is a fusion of influences derived from the traditions of Britain, Ireland and North America with hints of his experiences as a jazz bassist and dance band fiddle player.
