A.k.a. Jon-Marc Ryan Dale
Jon-Marc Dale, a native of Greensboro, North Carolina is a percussionist for the United States Air Force Band of Mid America. Airman Dale holds a Masters of Library Science and a Bachelor's degree in Percussion Performance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Airman Dale's teachers included Thomas Taylor, Chad Eby, and John Beck. Prior to joining the Air Force, Airman Dale worked as a freelance musician throughout the Carolinas. He has performed with Chris Potter, Robin Eubanks, Terry Lynn Carrington, John Scofield, Fred Wesley, Stephen Riley, Dave Fox, Bruce Eisenbeil, Max Weinberg and many other great artists. While attending UNC-Greensboro Airman Dale was a part of the ensemble that received the Herb Wong blue chip award for outstanding jazz ensemble recording. Airman Dale enlisted in the United States Air Force on December 13th, 2011 and upon completion of Basic Training was assigned to the USAF Band of Mid-America, Scott AFB, IL In the summer of 2014 Airman Dale deployed with the rock group Starlifter. While there, he performed in 8 countries entertaining troops while helping build partnerships with local communities.
