Swedish film director born in the mid-1960s in Stockholm. He is best known as an award winning director of music videos: having won a Grammy for Best Music Video (Short Form), and seven awards at the 1998 MTV Video Music Award for his work on Madonna's song "Ray Of Light", as well as directing The Prodigy's, then controversial, "Smack My Bitch Up" video. However, he began his filming career in advertising, and has over 250 adverts to his credit. Pre-dating that he was briefly a member of the Swedish black metal band Bathory, and appears on their 1984 self-titled debut album 'Bathory'.
