A.k.a. N. Jonas Englund
Painter born in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1960. He grew up in a creative home where art supplies were ubiquitous — drawing and painting was part of everyday life. Although mostly self-taught, he naturally learned a lot from his parents and relatives. Nevertheless, he began his professional career in music, but painting soon were to become his occupation. In the early 80's Englund had his first show at a local gallery, after only a few months of painting full time. A couple of years later he went overseas and spent more than a decade of his career in various parts of the United States. He now again resides in Sweden and continues to exhibit regularly, mostly in and around Scandinavia.
