Born June 13, 1952 in Washington, District of Columbia, USA Academy Award-winning Writer, Director, and Film Producer whose documentary "Vietnam Requiem" was sampled by Paul Hardcastle in the 1985 hit single "19". Hardcastle was later required by a US legal settlement to share his writing credits and proceeds with McCord and another of the film's writers.
