Originally from Darlington in the North East of England, Jonathan Curren is a guitarist who's been in a punk band and has played in "the occasional folk club". His day job working in sustainable energy and renewable development took him to Swaziland for a number of years where he happened across a group of musicians - a band that eventually became Black Roses. Returning to the UK in 2003, together with Moesha, Jonathan is now part of the core of folk/jazz outfit Moya.
