Knowing just how and what keeps that passion burning is the key... For Joolz the craft of DJing has been the ability to immerse not only in music but with the feelings and responses shared and built up with his audiences. Using the memory of the very first applause of recognition he got when starting his music career back in 1987. Joolz has been able to build relationships based on an absolute respect for you all, without that there would be no connect.. Respect! What seams like a nanosecond ago and then just a young lad from Leeds Joolz hit the 1’s and 2’s... Once told by DJ Graham Gold that the name Joolz with a Zeee would be hard to sell, not so easy... Well after all this time it’s plain to see Joolz with a Zeee is well on with creating a legacy. Joolz Collins (DJ Joolz) aka Media Whore has spent the last 3 decades delighting crowds all over the world with his sets. Gaining recognition from many household names in the business that we have come to know and love. Currently based back in Leeds, Joolz is actively going about business. To date he has held residencies in the UK, Europe and in the United States, including Ministry of Sound (London, UK), Glasshouse (Leeds, UK), SpeedQueen (Leeds, UK), Luna (Leeds, UK), Mint Club (Leeds, UK), Elbow Room (Leeds, UK), Norman (Leeds, UK), Cafe del Mar, Oh! Marbella, Deep, Teatro Kapital (Madrid), Fresh (Madrid), Bar 6 (New York, USA), Music Station (New York, USA) and Monster (New York, USA). Not to mention the numerous radio shows, even being the voice of HMV In-Store Radio. Fortunate to have been invited to guest at parties up and down the country and across the globe, He has developed a precious understanding of performing on all formats. There's an inspiration that Joolz wishes to pay gratitude for, it's to the many people he has met along the way, fellow DJ's, Artists, Promoters, Ravers, Club Goers, Record Makers, Label Owners, Distributors, but most of all the MUSIC LOVERS.
