German producer, performer, engineer, born December 29th, 1980 in Hannover, Germany, who is today known for his outstanding MPC live performances. Raised in Hildesheim, Lower Saxony, Joolz teamed up with fellow MC's and writers Caibo, Ilk24, Whiz Kid to form the PBT Crew in 1994. Upon releasing his solo debut "The Unbreakable" in 2002, Joolz relocated to Nuremberg (Nürnberg), Germany, teaming up with a new crew callled FTC, while launching his own independent label, the Apartment Of Justice, lending his experimental edge to various artists from the area. Starting with two projects released simultaneously, the "JLX - Justice League Xperiment Volumes I + II" in 2004, and the release of Cerebral Vortex's "Medisin" in 2005. Further releases included Stormy Weathers "The Shadowfish EP" that same year, Whiz Kid's "Chefstresser" and Sleep's "Intro 2 My World" in 2006, before the label folded in 2007. Relocating to Amsterdam, Netherlands in 2009, Joolz worked on several underground projects under other aliases, while further establishing his liveperformance skills, having worked with the likes of Cerebral Vortex, Han Dolo, B.A.G.I., Subz-Z, Cea-3, Brisk Fingaz, Automatikk, Shemrok, NATO, CNS, Vertual Vertigo, and many more.
