Venezuelan Cuatro (four) player. The Cuatro is a traditional four string Venezuelan instrument used in Venezuelan Folk music. However Jorge Glem and his Cuatro band "C4trio", play other genres with the Cuatro as well. Like Venezuela, other Latin American Countries have the "Cuatro" as a traditional instrument. An example is the Puerto Rican Cuatro; though it has also four strings, the instrument is built differently and even has a different sound. Jorge is an extremely virtuous Cuatro player, one of the elements that set him apart from other Cuatro players other than his virtuosity, is the fact that he incorporates percussion into his playing by using the surface of the cuatro. He can also play extremely fast and still keep a clean sound.
