Spanish composer and musician (Gerona, 1840 - Sevilla, 1898). Father of Manuel Font y Fernández De La Herranz and grandfather of Manuel Font De Anta, José Font de Anta and Julio Font de Anta. Holly Week procesional march "Quinta Angustia" made the canon for this kind of brass band compositions in the future.
