Czech composer, lyricist and poet. Born June 29, 1917, in Přerov (then Austro-Hungarian Empire, later Czechoslovakia), died November 16, 1971, in Dobříš (former Czechoslovakia). Kainar often worked with Gustav Brom and his orchestra. In the last two years of his life he also actively worked with rock groups as a lyricist on albums Město Er and Kuře V Hodinkách respectively.
