Album AU 1965 on World Record Club label
Classical (Opera)
No orchestra credit on side 2. Australian WRC pressing, sourced from original stampers and featuring unique sleeve art. "D/870" on back of sleeve - mono and stereo sleeves are identical, but stereo has "SD-870" on green 'strobe' label, whereas the mono has "D-870" on beige 'strobe' label. There is a printed "stereo" rosette on the back, and the mono has a red sticker with "mono" placed over this (though these tend to drop off with age). Issued as a 'dividend' release, offered at a low price (18 shillings, instead of the regular 37/6) for club members who had bought one LP or more in the previous 12 months. Last available in November 1966. 393 Flinders Lane Melbourne 177 Elizabeth St Sydney Newspaper House, 93 Queen St Brisbane 60 Pulteney St Adelaide Barnett's Buildings Council Ave Perth
