Josefina Gonzalez was born in Santiago on December 5, 1983. Throughout her life she has been involved in several areas of creative production: music, painting, illustration and acting, both in theater and movies. She approached music when she was an infant through her father, who was a founding member of Barroco Andino, and a musician with bands such as Quelentaro and Schwenke & Nilo, among others. She took her first piano lessons when she was 10 years old and timidly started playing guitar during her teenage years, but it wasn’t until 2006 when she recorded her songs, using her own personal computer, songs influenced by hardcore punk and romantic latin pop. This is her first release, characterized by the sound of low-fi guitars and emotional lyrics.
