A.k.a. Josep Rodoreda i Santigós

Spanish musician and composer from Catalonia (Barcelona, ​​1851 - Buenos Aires, 1922). He composed almost four hundred works of different genres, many of them awarded in the different contests where he participated. His most famous work is the Virolai of the Virgin of Montserrat (1880), popularly known by the name of Virolai, with lyrics by Jacint Verdaguer. He continued the work of Anselm Clavé after his death (1874).
