Arranger / Conductor of Folk and World
A.k.a. Yosef Ben-Israel (Hebrew: יוסף בן ישראל)
Israeli folklorist, conductor and arranger. He is the Director General of the Maataf fellowship, which sends Israeli ensembles abroad to a variety of International Festivals and events to represent the country as well as organizing traditional and folk music festivals in Israel. He worked for many years at Kol Israel radio, where he founded their Folklore and Oriental Music Department. He also founded and conducted the "Mizmor Shir" Choir.
