Single US 2002 on Daptone Records label
R&B/Soul (Funk)
"Reissue" of Desco Records DS-1017 which was never actually released as the label went out of business. It appears though that Gabriel Roth decided to reuse the original Desco mother plates for the Daptone pressing as the DS-1017 catalog number appears in the runout grooves instead of DAP-1012 shown on the label under which it was released here on Daptone. Desco Records did however include both tracks on their Spike's Choice 2 - The Desco Funk 45' Collection and showed Desco label artwork for both sides of the unreleased single. Direct Metal Mastering I've Never Found a Girl (Vocal) (P) Desco Records Irving Music, Inc., BMI. The Matador (Instrumental) (P) Desco Records Imperialsound Music, Inc., BMI.
