Springing from feelings of transience, disruption, and uncertainty, they usually take the form of spontaneous inkling ideas and impulses pinned down just before they have a chance to escape. Naked and searching. Simple guitar and vocal melodies form duets with the sounds of surrounding environments and objects, which are as important here, if not more so, as the chords and words.
