Josse Goffin

*1938 BE

Belgian artist born in 1938 in Brussels. Author of countless drawings, posters, children's book illustrations, graphics and album covers. His style is marked by poetry and humor and in 1987 he starts with the creation of books for kids. These books are published worldwide and harvest several awards, including the 'graphic prize' of the Bologna Fair in 1992. Goffin had several successful solo exhibitions in Europe and in New York. Between the years 1977 and 2004 he taught 'storytelling' and 'mood drawing' at the department of Graphic Communication at the Cambre in Brussels. In 2010 a retrospective of his work was published under the title "Josse Goffin - Inventaire".
