Juan Parrilla (Juan Fernández Gálvez), Jerez de la Frontera, Cádiz, 1968. From a gypsy family with a musical tradition, he is the son of the guitarist Juan Parrilla and nephew of Parrilla de Jerez. He formed a trio with his brothers Manuel (guitar) and Bernardo (violin) called "Alburejo". He studied flute at the Conservatory of Jerez and then moved to Madrid where he studied with D. Andrew Carreres. Along with his brothers he is one of the greatest exponents of the new flamenco. He is also one of the most sought after composers by the great figures of dance, such as: Antonio Canales, Aida Gomez, Joaquin Cortes, Rafael Amargo, among others.
