Texts in Spanish and English. --- The discs, book and booklet have been issued in conjunction with the exhibition "De Juan Hidalgo 1957-1997" organised by the Centro Atlántico De Arte Moderno in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and by the exhibition hall "La Recova" of the Ayuntamiento De Santa Cruz De Tenerife. Legal reference number / catalogue number for the discs: CD 1: M-12066-1997 CD 2: M-12067-1997 CD 3: M-12068-1997 --- Ukanga, Caurga, Ja-U-La, Palpiti (Latidos), Roma Dos Pianos, Zajrit, Letrilla and Aulaga 2 were recorded at Kiryos and Cinearte Studios in Madrid between January and March 1997. Kuutamo was recorded at Trak Studios in Madrid in September 1991. Rrose Sélavy was recorded by the composer as a multi-track version in 1975 at Studi Ricordi, Milano, and mixed at Regson, Milano. Offenes Trio was recorded live at the Rotonda del Pellegrini in Milan, 21st January 1959. Étude de Stage was created on magnetic tape at the Research Department of the ORTF (French Radiotelevision) in 1961.
