Single US 2018 on Ascension Monuments Media label
Rock (Black Metal)
Unofficial reissue by Ascension Monuments Media. Modified release - originally released as a split 7" EP with U.S. black metal band KRIEG in 2000 on Belgian label, Painiac Records in a limited edition of 666 copies. "Winterheart" (side A) written in February 1996, recorded in December 2000 and is a cover of Crimson Evenfall. (later renamed Musta Surma, from Finland.) "War" (side B) written in 1991 by Varg Vikernes / BURZUM, recorded in 2000 by Akhenaten / Judas iscariot. This track was not on the original 7" EP released on Painiac Records. Instead, this track was previously only released (in any form) on the "Visions: A Tribute To Burzum" 2xCD, released by U.S. NSBM label, Unholy Records. This is it's only appearance on vinyl anywhere and was applied to this EP to replace the original Krieg track, as permission was not granted to AMM to include the Krieg track on this EP (nor was it asked for.) 300 units of each of the four Judas Iscariot EPs included in the "Proclamations of Intolerance" 4 x 7" EP box set were pressed. The box set was limited to 200 units, and the 100 remaining 7" EP's of each of the four titles were released as individual releases with slightly modified designs based off the original designs of each EP. Attention to detail was paid to keep hem as true-to-the-original as possible. About 20 copies of "Arise My Lord", "Midnight Frost (To Rest With Eternity)" and "To The Coming Age of Apocalypse" were released with very "DIY" (and admittedly, they turned out crappy, unfortunately) packaging where the art was printed out and applied to plain white 7" EP jackets with a crafting spray adhesive. Due to the failed quality of this attempt at packaging, fold over, one-sided covers were printed for the three titles mentioned above for the remaining 80 or so copies of each title. SIDE NOTE: Ascension Monuments Media has sold off nearly their entire stock and the company / corporation (Ascension Monuments, Inc. - the formal, legal title of the company) was legally dissolved and closed in October, 2018 after filing for bankruptcy. Almost all copies of this and all other AMM titles were sold off at a massively discounted price to a small handful of different record sellers, stores and labels / distributors. We are NOT involved with any of the vendors selling AMM titles on Discogs currently, despite numerous speculative claims to the contrary. Please do not harass sellers on Discogs, eBay, etc. whom are selling AMM titles about any issues you or anyone may have with business had with AMM. Any unfilled orders can and will be refunded by Paypal if you follow their procedure for un-received orders. The company went bankrupt and was legally dissolved in tens of thousands of dollars of debt and was (at time of closure and onward) completely incapable of processing refunds directly for any un-received orders, despite our sincere wishes to do otherwise Many titles were canceled mid-production ("Heaven In Flames", by Judas Iscariot, being the main one people are concerned about. This record was never released.) Paypal has been working with us to get the orders refunded, all you need to do is contact them and file a claim, even if its past their standard claim window of time deadline.
