Single UK 1977 on RCA Victor label
Pop (Ballad, Vocal)
This 1977 demo was never officially released by RCA Victor. Actor/songwriter Judd Hamilton and actress/model wife Caroline Munro hoped that "Love Songs" would have a singles release by the end of 1977. However, the unexpected resignation of RCA U.K. President Gerry Ord caused Hamilton as producer of the record to lose confidence in the song's chances for proper promotion, and he withdrew the single. Nevertheless, even as a demo it received minor radio rotation in Ireland and England during 1977. Side A is a medley combining the songwriting of Judd and MIss Munro (Judd Hamilton and Caroline Munro), and a cross-section of twentieth century American ballads: "Come Softly To Me" (Gretchen Christopher, Barbara Ellis, Gary Troxel); "I Love How You Love Me" (Barry Mann and Larry Kolber); and "In the Still Of the Night" (Cole Porter). Side B is a more conventional rock song co-written by Judd Hamilton and friend and songwriter David Jones.
