Album FR 2012 on Three Legs Duck label
Electronic, Pop and Classical (Experimental, Free Improvisation, Sound Collage)
News Week Vision is a fresh compilation of new versions of improvised songs recorded by Jude Cowan Montague in response of Reuters news stories during 2011 by Brian O'Shaughnessy at Bark Studios which were originally released as 'World News Vision March 2011' and 'World News vision April 2011'on Three Legs Duck. Each invited artist-composer received separated WAVs of the keyboard, voice and drum machine and created an audio response to the track at their own discretion. The results are incredibly varied and show diverse modes of expression. Some artists have chosen to leave the original track more intact as they work whereas others have approached the task by chopping up the sound source until it is almost unrecognisable. This collaborative approach was first realised in the album 'Lamb & Tyger - The Commune' released in 2011 on Rash Records
