A.k.a. Mrs. Crawford Annie Crawford Marion Crawford
Irish poet and lyricist, native of County Cavan, Ireland, and author of a number of poems for the Metropolitan Magazine, most of these are lost, except for Kathleen Mavourneen, which was popularized by Frederick Nicholls Crouch who set it to music in 1837. Crawford published her poems under the name Mrs. Crawford, although her name is variously cited as Annie, Julia, Louise Macarthey, Louise Matilda Jane Montague, or Marion.
