A.k.a. Julio Rosales Huatuco

Born in Acolla, Jauja on April 12, 1931, from very young he had inclination to music with (alto sax) instrument which allowed him to get great laurels. It is a leading national artist, musician, instrumentalist, musical artistic promoter and diffuser. He is also founder of the National Folk Orchestra, he played for the recording of singer Leonor Chavez Rojas "Flor Pucarina" the most representative voice of the Mantaro Valley. A year later recorded the Huayno "Ayrampito" Emilio Alanya Carhuamaca "Moticha" and as tunantero, many years ago formed the band "Los Engreidos de Jauja" and in 1974 changed the name to "Los Engreidos del Peru".
