(December 21, 1910 in Lemberg - February 24, 1985 in Detroit) highly accomplished virtuoso concert pianist, conductor, and composer. A refugee from the Third Reich who settled in America, he composed both secular Jewish concert music and sacred music for Reform and Conservative synagogues.
