[liner] Jung Salzburg is an unique group of young men and women dedicated to the preservation of the melodious and rhythmic folk-lore of their native land. The moving spirit of Jung Salzburg is the tireless Erich K. Cevela, its capable musical director is Hermann Delacher. Originally a Boy Scout troop, it soon developed into one of the outstanding folk music groups of Europe. As ambassadors in "Dirndl" and "Lederhosen" they have covered more than 20,000 miles in all countries of Europe. All profits from their performances are donated to the sick and needy.
