Croatian rock musician, singer/lead guitarist, singer-songwriter, born February 03, 1955 in Zagreb, Croatia. Also a co-founder of Etnofest Neum Music Festival. As singer-songwriter and lead guitarist with ''Aerodrom'' (1979-1986), as ''Padjen band'' (1993-1997) and since 2001 as solo and ''Jurica Padjen & Aerodrom'' he released 13 studio albums. He was notable member of famous band ''AZRA'' (1987-1988) as well as member of ''Sevdah Shuttle Band'' on Branimir Štulić solo albums (1988-1990). An economist by education (graduated at the Zagreb Faculty of Economics), although he never worked in the field. Finished a secondary music school in Zagreb. Member of several pop-rock bands in former Yugoslavia and Croatia including "Zoo Band", "Spectrum", "Hobo", "Grupa 220", "Parni Valjak", since 1979 "Aerodrom", "Azra", "4 Asa" and his own "Pađen Band". A prolific author of pop/rock songs, including a number of hits nowadays considered evergreens. In 1995 together with Tomislav Šojat he established the Etnofest Neum Music Festival of which he is still a director. Since 2005 he is married to Ana Šuto.
