A.k.a. The Dave Starky Five
In 1965 the Dave Starky V recorded "Hey Everybody" and "Stand There" at Houston's famous Gold Star Studio. The 45 rpm record was released under the Shazam label with the band's name listed as "Just Us", a new name for the group after a "Re-name the Dave Starky V" contest on radio station KNUZ. Both songs were written by DSV member, Pete Bas. The band eventually went back to their original "Dave Starky V" name.
