A.k.a. Kâshif Kroche

Kâshif Kroche is born in Lyon (France) from a musicians family. Records collector, he starts to make music in 1998 with a G-Funk groupe from his neighbourhood called ''Funky Drive'' (1998-2005). When the group split up, he creat the label R.$.J.Recordz in 2008 and "The Funky Drive Band" with his friend Bumpy T.T., a Boogie/Funk band. In the band he is the manager, one of the producers, songwriters, keyboard player and percussions. Kâshif Kroche produced and composed the first album of the band "Dance Or Die". In 2016 with his wife, the singer Hadia, they open a record shop in the old town of Lyon call "The Sounds Of Music" specialized on Groove Music (Funk/Soul/Hip Hop/New Jack/Jazz Fusion/Afro...). With Bumpy T.T. they made "The Funky Drive Radio Show" and today "The Sounds Of Music Radio Show" on LYL Radio. Bumpy is the voice and Kâshif the Deejay (DJ Double K) Kâshif organized differents events in his town "Funkylozophy Events" (Funkylozophy Mix-Party / Moonlight Boogie...) with DJ set and concert of Modern Funk artists (Sven Atterton, Beverly Girl, XL Middleton, Moniquea, Eddy Funkster, Ameega, The Groove Associaton...) and old school artists like Ago, Junior Giscomb, Second Image... He also worked on some artwork for artists like Grand Slam, HB Concept, Bones Jones, June Evans, Imaa...
