‘In January of 2016 I went hiking on my own in the forests of the Belgian Ardennes. I was in awe of the trees more than often. A week or so later I made this piece, inspired by the trees, imagining the slow and determined force the tree takes to grow. The cover picture was taken during one of the hikes. It had snowed heavily and the dense mist had turned the already impressive forests into mystic temples of solitude. I dedicate this album to all past, current and future trees. Antecedents and survivors of the human species. Lungs of the earth. Connectors of heaven and earth, mirroring above and below. Jürgen De Blonde June 2016 Limited to 50 copies. Folded paper sleeve with photo paper printed image on the front and a large information sticker on the back contained in a plastic wallet.
