A.k.a. Kevin Hainey
Experimental solo recording project by Kevin Hainey. The current phase began in late 2012 with the recordings that became "Evil Veil", when the project focused on the modified bass guitar noise and drones Hainey contributed to the band Disguises from 2005-2011. Kapali Carsi started performing live with this direction in 2016. The early period of Kapali Carsi was recorded during 2005 and 2006, but released intermittently from 2005 to 2013. Excluding the standalone "Feverish Tears of Our Ancients" double album (2012) as well as the "Fuck Roast" EP (2009), there are 11 releases which compile these 05/06 recordings (finalizing with 2013 split CDR "Bananas Hop, Bananas Run"). These sound events are determinedly non-musical and primitive, mostly involving deconstructed approaches to interior recording, encounters with non-musical objects, and experiments with unfamiliar noises and unique sounds.
