Labelle, electronic music producer from Reunion Island and Hlasko, South African producer and singer both nourish the same curiosity for traditional and sacred music. They have in common the rare capacity to capture emotion, put the intangible into words and music. Together they created Kaang, a band that combines and links two musical worlds: Reunion Island and Lesotho. The unexpected connections between those two lands appear so obvious under the notes of the two poetical spirits passionate by Bushmen music. They immerse the listener into a spatio-temporal flaw where crystalline, aerial and ethereal sound generates an emotion that comes from deep inside, somewhere at the origin, where our roots remain.
