The groups of Kai Winding and Sonny Stitt. Early Modern consists of a dozen sides originally released by Roost Records on ten-inch 78rpm records, later issued on Jazztone J-1231, and now re-issued in this re-recorded fashion by Jazztone with every effort made to enhance the sound without in any way interfering with the natural tonal quality of the music itself.
