Kalle Mattson (born Kalle Mattson Wainio, September 21, 1990 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario) is a Canadian singer-songwriter based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. In 2014 his album Someday, The Moon Will Be Gold was nominated for the 2014 Polaris Music Prize, which is awarded annually to the best full-length Canadian album based on artistic merit, regardless of genre, sales, or record label. He has also won SOCAN's Songwriter of the Year and four Northern Ontario Music Award's for Album of the Year and Songwriter of the Year in both 2012 and 2015.
