KALM is a Japanese composer. Originally a solo artist in the early 90's, KALM became well known in the underground gothic scene after he formed the visual kei unit VELVET EDEN in 1998. After leaving VELVET EDEN in 2000, KALM briefly worked on several short-lived units like Nymphis and LURID AQUA and eventually retired from the music scene. KALM is now working as a music composer and arranger for several darkwave/gothic artists in Japan like Kaya (6) and Seileen.
