Czech saxophonist, drummer, band leader. Born August 9, 1919 in Prague (former Czechoslovakia), died in July 1983 in former Czechoslovakia. Member of the Karel Vlach Orchestra 1945–1954, Taneční Orchestr Jiřího Procházky 1954–1958. Leader of his own orchestra 1958–1964 (aka “Velký taneční orchestr Parku kultury a oddechu Julia Fučíka”). Later he also regularly performed in Erfurt, former East Germany.
